The Philippine Association of Management Accountants launches PAMA Insights, its official professional journal—a new platform for ideas, perspectives, knowledge, and the voices shaping management accounting today and tomorrow.
The Philippine Association of Management Accountants (PAMA) proudly marks another milestone in its continuing journey with the launch of PAMA Insights — Volume 1, Issue 1, the Association’s official professional journal.
For 54 years, PAMA has brought management professionals together through professional development, collaboration, leadership, and the exchange of knowledge. The launch of PAMA Insights builds on that legacy while creating a new channel through which the organization can document its journey, recognize its people, and explore the ideas shaping the profession.
A Platform for Ideas, Perspectives and Knowledge
PAMA Insights was created to be more than a record of organizational activities. It is envisioned as a professional platform where members, practitioners, leaders, educators, and the next generation of management accountants can encounter relevant stories, practical knowledge, diverse perspectives, and conversations that matter.
Its inaugural issue reflects PAMA’s 2026–2027 theme:
PAMA NextGen: Intelligent Management Professionals for an Automated Economy
As technology, automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and new ways of working continue to reshape organizations, management professionals are being challenged to evolve as well. PAMA Insights provides a venue for examining these changes while recognizing that technology alone does not define the future of the profession.
Human judgment, integrity, leadership, collaboration, professional competence, and the ability to turn information into meaningful decisions remain equally important.
Inside the Inaugural Issue
Volume 1, Issue 1 introduces readers to the people, milestones, and ideas behind today’s PAMA.
The issue looks back at the 54th Joint Turnover and Induction Ceremonies, introduces new voices joining the PAMA community, recognizes individuals who have helped shape the organization, and explores what it means to become a NextGen Management Accountant.
It also features perspectives on leadership and purpose, including insights from Maria Lourdes Sereno, guest speaker during PAMA’s 54th Joint Turnover and Induction Ceremonies.
Together, these stories reflect the three pillars guiding PAMA NextGen—Innovation, Collaboration, and Growth.
Preserving Our Story While Looking Forward
Every professional organization has a story told not only through milestones, but through its people.
PAMA Insights provides a place to preserve those stories: the leaders who helped build the Association, the members contributing today, and the new generation that will carry PAMA forward.
At the same time, the journal will look beyond the organization itself. Future issues can provide a continuing venue for professional insights, emerging developments, management accounting practices, technology, leadership, governance, sustainability, analytics, and other subjects relevant to management professionals.
PAMA Insights is more than a publication. It is a platform for our members—a place for ideas worth sharing, a record of our continuing journey, and another step toward the PAMA we are building for the future.
